For over 35 years, Masjid Al-Jamia has served as the spiritual heart of West Philadelphia’s diverse Muslim community. From our humble beginnings in 1988, founded by dedicated University of Pennsylvania students, we have grown into a beacon of faith serving 700-1000 worshippers each Friday from over 20 blocks away.
